AIMS

- To encourage all superannuated teachers in Regina and vicinity to become actively   involved in Chapter affairs.

- To provide moral support for superannuates and spouses suffering serious illness or bereavement.

- To recognize achievements of superannuates and/or significant milestones in their lives.

- To encourage superannuates to maintain an active interest in community and public affairs: local, provincial and national.

- To respond by resolution or other written submission to proposed actions of governments affecting education and senior’s welfare.

- To ensure that superannuates are informed of the role of the Provincial STS in maintaining benefits which they enjoy, and to inform the Provincial STS of any concerns that come to the attention of the Chapter. 

- To encourage members to maintain a continuing and supportive interest in education.

Currently, monthly fees are $2.50, which can be deducted from your payroll.
Please indicate on the form your desire to support the Regina Chapter.
Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive all three newsletters: the provincial STS newsletter, the OUTREACH newsletter, and the Regina newsletter.


An application for the STS Group Benefits Program may be submitted by active members of the STS who are Canadian residents and eligible for benefits under the provincial healthcare program in their province of residence. Group Benefits Information and an Application form may be obtained by clicking on the provided link.

An Associate Membership may be granted by a Local Chapter to:
1. A spouse of a member
2. A retired teacher who has not met the requirements for superannuation eligibility
The fee for an Associate Membership is $5.00.
